Dear Boys,

I know you think texting a girl for a date is easy and safe. Everyone texts for everything, right? WRONG! You may be really hot and wear sexy aviator glasses, but when you send me a text that says "hey, want to go out Friday night?" you make it WAY easy for me to say no to you. If you can't talk to me enough to call me on the phone, then how do you expect to talk to me enough on a 4 hour date? I'm so over the date text and I think most girls would agree.

Dear Girl,
Hey it's me, boy with the aviator glasses, I stumbled upon this blog and saw your fabulous (?) picture on the sidebar. Should I call you by the name of game time? I'm sad you outed me to everyone online, but I'm not sad that you admitted I'm good looking. Just remember, "I ain't no holla back boy, I ain't no holla back boy."
Textually yours, lacking social skills

People are still asking girls out over text? Have they never heard of Twitter?

What a loser...

Alright anonymous friends, show your faces.

Maybe we will if we knew which one of you wrote it so we don't get in trouble.

What's up Becca, Ally, and Kate!

Long time since I've left a comment. I feel bad for this guy. He's missing out on the whole calling a girl, getting super nervous, listening to her voice in the way she responds to the invitation, analyzing it, responding with something like "Awesome, awesome, that's great. Well I'll see you Friday night. Um... I'll pick you up at 7:00?"

Sometimes I still like asking my wife out like this . It's fun

maybe he didn't call because your voice is too sexy? at least a text is a LITTLE bit better than a facebook message. But i agree with Ally... show your faces!

Anonymous,
No one will get into trouble. This is a safe space.

Richard,
EXACTLY! What happened to the good 'ol days when people made phone calls?

Dear Ladies,
Sometimes I wish some of the freaks calling me all the time would just text. Saying "No" is a lot easier in a text.
But then again, none of these people are wearing Aviators.

Supporting Text Messages,
The girl who gets too many "I feel really drawn to you" phone calls.

(Seriously)

If someone who originally posted "anonymously" can subsequently get peer pressured into revealing their perfectly shrouded identity, then they are probably the most peer pressurable person still alive. (avoid bridges)

Also, this post never actually clarified if the receiver accepted the invite or not. Perhaps I'm being a bit skeptical...but seriously.

And at the risk of this comment being 3 parts too long, I should note that Anonymous 1 most definitely fits the Urban Dictionary's definition for a "holla back boy". I know this because I wasn't sure exactly what I was supposed to be remembering and had to look it up.
